Landlord & Tenant

We provide cost-effective solutions for resolution of landlord and tenant issues including enforcement of lease covenants, the eviction of tenants (commercial and residential) and the recovery of rent arrears. We act for landlords across the UK - location or complexity are no issue.

The process can take a few weeks so it is best to get advice early on and not let arrears or breaches of covenant build up so that action can be taken early on and losses minimised.

Our team will review the situation and advise on procedure and notices and how best to recover rent arrears. Once the relevant notices have been served on the tenant it may be necessary to apply to court for an order for possession, if the tenant has still not left or to seek the payment of arrears. For more information about rent arrears see Debt Recovery.

Our team will advise and help you every step of the way.

Case studies

A client let out luxury apartments in Central London. The tenants stopped paying and communicating with the Landlord. A Section 8 eviction notice was served and the tenants left of their own accord. The deposit was sufficient to cover the rent arrears

A tenant in Surrey stopped paying rent. A Section 21 notice was served. The tenant remained in situ claiming that the local authority will not house him unless he was formally evicted. Our team applied for an accelerated possession order and evicted the tenant. A subsequent claim was made for the arrears and a repayment plan agreed.
